Researchers from the Hubrecht Institute, the Westerdijk Institute and Utrecht University have generated a library of secondary metabolites from 10,207 fungi and have tested their biological activity using developing zebrafish (Danio rerio) embryos.
This library of fungal secondary metabolites offers new and exciting opportunities to search for novel drugs.
