Annual ‘Network Showcase’ Meetings
Annual Meeting 2015
This one day event aimed to consider the fundamental importance of plants as a source for innovative natural products for the UK bioeconomy, recognise the importance of institutions such as Kew in providing unique resources and expertise to the Industrial Biotechnology research community and showcase the successes and achievements of Network Members at the end of our second year. The day involved a series of invited talks and flash presentations in the delightful surroundings of Cambridge Cottage, Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.
Annual Meeting 2016
This one day event aimed took place on 23rd June 2016, at the mid-point of our 5 year HVCfP Network funding, and was an opportunity to evaluate achievements to date and capture feedback to enable future planning. The day involved a series of invited talks and flash presentations in the beautiful setting of the Hospitium, Museum Gardens, York.
Annual Meeting 2017
Our annual meeting in 2017 took place at the Carole Nash Hall in Chetham's Music School New Building, in the centre of Manchester. This event offered 'something for everyone' across the broad range of interests in the HVCfP community and created a great opportunity for cross-disciplinary networking. The programme combined updates from Network-funded Projects, invited talks, funding news and short talks selected from titles submitted by delegates.
Annual Meeting 2018
The final annual meeting of the HVCfP Network took place at the Royal College of Physicians, a Grade I listed building overlooking Regents Park in central London. The RCP is England's oldest medical college and celebrated its 500th birthday in 2018. Our annual meeting included an opportunity to explore the RCP Garden of Medicinal Plants during the lunch break https://garden.rcplondon.ac.uk/.
